Breast swelling or unusual tenderness Headache or anxiety Increased or decreased interest in sex Irritation where medication is applied Numbness or tingly feeling |

What can you do to avoid side effects of testosterone injections?
It is important to follow the doctor’s prescription exactly for dosage times and amounts. If you have any questions about the procedure, contact your medical advisor for clarification and concrete answers before beginning injections.
Unlike new drugs which are studied extensively, testosterone has been around for many years. There are studies watching for long term side effects of testosterone injections which have been following groups of men for 5, 10 and even 20 years. None of these studies have yet proven any significant increase in life threatening issues such as prostate cancer or other adverse health conditions.
During the course of your low testosterone treatment program, you will experience changes in your body and overall health. Any side effects of testosterone treatment will serve to guide our doctors to make appropriate changes in your plan. If any of these causes you concern, contact our clinic. It is always better to ask and be sure that your therapy is proceeding on course.
